Most recently Gord Downie Pier has become a local favorite great for the whole family, or walk along the waterfront path and find your own spot to have a picnic or soak up the views down by city Hall overlooking Lake Ontario! 

Kingston also sits right on the Thousand Islands, a world-renowned attraction and some of the best boating in the world! Enjoy a day at Boldt Castle and take a tour, anchor and hang out on one of the many beaches or camp at a public campsite! Take the FREE Wolfe Island Ferry and enjoy the ride and explore what the Island has to offer! Boat enthusiasts can even take the locks all the way up to Ottawa on the St.Lawrence River for a leisurely boat trip! 

Besides the GORGEOUS Thousand Islands, North of Kingston rests Frontenac County, home to many lakes, provincial parks for camping and canoeing with plenty of rental cottages to book for your stay!  If you enjoy spending your summer by the water Kingston is a great spot to be!

It truly is a delight going out for food in Kingston, the hardest part, is picking where to go with SO MANY OPTIONS! 


If you’re used to working in larger metropolitan areas, you may be concerned about commuting, it’s safe to say Kingston makes commuting EASY!

In Kingston, you can get from The far east end of Kingston to the far West End in 20 Minutes, even on the busiest days downtown, the traffic is minimal! 


Kingston built a newer arena for the local Kingston OHL team the Kingston Frontenac’s, but, an additional benefit is Kingston often gets some larger acts that may skip other small towns! In-between Ottawa and Toronto, great acts make the pit stop to perform in Kingston! 

In the summer, the downtown core comes alive, with Blues Fest, The City Hall Farmers Market, Buskers, The Poker-run, Movies in the Square, and much more! There is always something to do! 

Winter brings out the Skating rink at City Hall, a picturesque skating experience perfect as a precursor to an evening out in downtown Kingston!
