Zach Skolnick, a native of Kingston, ON, has an extensive background in real estate acquisition, investment, and development that has refined him into the Salesperson you are looking for. 

Zach graduated from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours). He also holds a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from Cornell University's SC Johnson School of Business, certifications in Real Estate Waterfall Models and Commercial Real Estate Loan Underwriting from PropertyMetrics, and a Real Estate Development Project Modeling certification from The Marquee Group. 

While attending Smith, Zach was the Sponsorship Coordinator and Co-Chair, in consecutive years, for the Cure Cancer Classic (CCC). CCC is a student-run, not-for-profit organization which operates under the Queen's Commerce Society. The committee, under Zach and his Co-Chair's leadership, was recipient of the Queen's Commerce Society's Community Outreach Award, which is awarded to the committee which best represents the school in community engagement and charitable donation. In 2018, the committee presented a donation of over $19,000 to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research at Sunnybrook Hospital. CCC has since donated over $1 million to the Canadian Cancer Society, due in part to the groundwork laid by Zach and his fellow Co-Chair in creating the annual Commerce vs. Engineering Rivalry Hockey Game. Also, while attending Smith, Zach held volunteer positions on the Queen's University Chapter of WaterAid, a charitable organization focused on water, sanitation, and hygiene in developing countries, and was the Logistics Coordinator for the Queen's Real Estate Association. While in school, Zach also balanced a full-time job as Manager of Canada's oldest, and Eastern Ontario's largest, Nightclub. It was in this role that Zach's hospitality and customer service talents truly began to develop.

Following his graduation, Zach worked as the Real Estate Analyst at Keilty Realty Corporation (KRC), where he led efforts of a new private equity real estate investment division of the firm. In two short years at KRC, Zach acquired over $11 million in real assets, asset managed over $16 million in real assets, and managed over $3.7 million in limited partner private equity, all in the Kingston, ON market.

In the Fall of 2022, Zach joined ABNA Investments Ltd. as Manager, Investment & Development. ABNA, the real estate division of H.R. Doornekamp Construction, is well-known for their heritage building revitalization and re-development projects, including The Smith & Robinson Building, The Woolen Mill, The Jackson Press Building, Queen City Oil Company Apartments, and Union Park Kingston. In this role, Zach leads all acquisition, investment, partnership, and development efforts. His role is best described as forward-looking, generating value from the company's current real estate holdings by maximizing use, planning, density, income generation, and prestige.

In his spare time, Zach loves to golf, play hockey, ATV, experiment with new recipes, and spend time with his family, including their Golden Retriever, Gordie, whom he named after the frontman of Kingston’s very own The Tragically Hip. Zach is an avid NHL hockey and NCAA college football fan. His favourite teams are the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
